I am trying to snap some pics of my work finally.
But the pics are very blurred, I don't have much exp. with this camera, nor do I have the instructions....but is there a steady feature or button or something....or do I just need to lay off the crack. I dont feel shakey but the pics look pretty freakin shakey.
It is a Sony Cybershot dsc-s60

Get a small tripod, use the self timer, the spot meter function, and do not zoom with the camera. Also, ott lights work well for a balanced light.

A tripod is essential. If you camera has a remote control use that instead of the timer (marginally faster).
Don't use the camera flash if you can avoid it. An indirect light source is much better. Ott lights are awesome. If you can't find Ott, look for any daylight balanced full spectrum compact fluorescent light.
And don't over look a proper / pleasing back ground. Your room, a desk top, corrugated foam, etc are all out. Use a sheet of paper if nothing else.
