*You may arrive a couple of days before the class, and stay up to 5 days after to tour other hot shops and flameworking studios in Murano and Venice. Deborah will be compiling a map, listing the studios in both Murano and Venice. (in English) This will not be a guided tour. This is a self-guided tour. This opportunity is provided as an extra event for this class. You do not have to stay after, or visit other studios. There are no cars on the island of Murano, so plan on either walking everywhere, or taking a boat cab. Deborah will be arriving two days before the class, and staying for 5 days after to assit. You may continue to stay in the student apartments for the before and after at the same $55.00 (USD) per night rate. There is a small kitchen (so I'm told) in the apartments and a good grocery store nearby. The class is for 9 students, maximum, and there are already a couple of those spots taken. Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity!!
(P.S. - Lucio will be getting ready for the Chicago SOFA show in November in which he is the featured artist. So, you may get to witness some really big sculptures being assembled!! What an education!!)

Let me know if you are being taken good care of or are having problems. You can download a copy of a flyer with all of this information on it, by logging onto http://www.deborahcarlson.com and clicking onto the link written in the information about the class in red.
