i skate and have for 20 years, i imagine that a ton of people here do to or has someone they know who does and loves it.!!
this is really, basically unrelated to glass other than the fact that these peeps support my glass and our scene, they spread pipes that i and my buddies make through the skate community and travel all over getting a new pipe from me and leaving it with people in other countries. david has been over to china three time in 08, germany, australia, amsterdam twice and all over the us, just this year....
these two especially david is changing the way skateboarding is and accelerating skateboarding and creature skateboards and NHS more so than ever....
i post this because they are my buds but mostly its a view and insight to another counter culture movement that relates to ours..... and how they are changing skateboarding.
david is the most progressive rail skater to ever live, hes only twenty and going pro in a coulple of months and will have a new shoe coming out for VOX, He skates for Volcom, Vox and NHS(creature, indy etc.)
with a broken ankle he filmed his ender part in the "And Now" video doing a run that goes a lipslide down a 12 stair flowing right into a monster set of 38 stairs with a 50-50 first try.... he was trying to backside nosegrind the 38 but fucked himself up. next couple of days went into surgery!!!
check out the "AND NOW" trailer. Jon Holland and transworld crew came by the shop to puff a BOWL, they support our scene tremendously!!!! MUCH RESPECT TO THEM FROM ME!!!
