I have noticed that all the DVDs and most of the VHSs on the library have been out for months. Will they ever be available? I have asked twice with no response.:twitch:

I know that Misha has been too busy to handle it, and she handed the project off to another mod / admin.

Whatever the problem is, I assure you it will be taken care of. Please be patient and we'll see what's going on.

Please don't whine.

Mods, admins and librarian are volunteers as far as I can tell.

I've seen quick attention paid to other very minor complaints on this board so I'm certain thie library will be on line again as soon as they can make it happen.

Yes, we’re volunteers, and I know I can speak for the entire team when I say that you have nothing to worry about regarding your membership. Any lapse in service will be taken care of.

Thanks for your patience : )

Just a few thoughts on this...

I signed up for the library in March, shortly after I found this site. I ordered some videos but never received them. At first I was kind of worried that I lost my money but to be honest even if I never receive one video IT WAS MONEY WELL SPENT!!!

Why would I say this? Simple, I have gotten a lot more from this site than I could if I were to watch every video ever made. The people here are awesome (for the most part, LOL) and to have this kind of resource is worth every penny and then some. I don’t have lots of money to travel around and take lessons and I am not very close to any one else where I can hang out and pick up things (that I know of) so to be able to read and talk about my favorite pass-time is just awesome!! My friends and family have no technical interest in glass, and the wife tries to follow along (but really doesn’t care) so I get my fix by reading this site till my eyes bleed.

If you are one of the moderators, or one of the people who have posted a tutorial or answered someone’s questions and are reading this I would like to say.

THANK YOU, YOU FRACKIN’ ROCK!!!

While we are on the Library topic I have an idea I would like to throw out there…
A lot of you have made tutorials, both written and videos, it would be SUPER COOL if these tutorials , write ups, and some pics of really cool work could be donated to the site, copied into a Book and DVD and sold to members with the proceeds going to the site. I would definitely buy them, and new ones could be put together each year. Just a thought.

The GLDG Tutorial & Information book. Not a bad idea... But i think there may be a legal problem with that... Only one that comes to mind is people "claiming techniques" Or something along the lines... Wouldn't be bad for something to look into though
