I post here because I think this can aid productivity and creativity. Especially the one for artists and writers.
What do I know? Check it out 4 yourself.

I opted to open it with realplayer but it doesn't work.

What did you use to listen to it?

It works fine with Kaffine (I am running linux).
I listened to two. Superbrain sounded like static fuzz, and when insperation turned out to sound like birds chirping, I had had enough.

At first I thought this thread was going to be about using sound as a power source. Thermoacoustics is going to be the wave(s) of the future.

wow,

this is funny you mention this... because a co-work and me have been trying to use this for a few months now.

some of them just make you feel cracked out, others act like adderall where if you have something to do you keep doing it until it's done.

we ended up downloading this open source application... i'll post a link to it later, i can't find it right now... that makes it's own tones that you can customize. they also have like 60 tones built in... i find i have to listen to those over music in order to not go crazy.

here's another website i've used:

this only "works" if you can hear in both ears, right? I'm deaf in one...

I think the bird chirping and white fuzzy noise are added to various particular binearal beat to make it easier to work with. It says something about this in the FAQ.
I'm not endorsing, just saying...

My beats just make you want to drink 40s and freestyle.

Thanks for the links Harp and Moch. Never heard of Binaural beats.
