Who Subscribes to Glass Line? I used to many years ago, and I just renewed my subscription today. Anyone seen anything good in there lately? I know they are including tons of lampworking stuff now.

I'm excited to get the first issue!

I used to subscribe, even had an article on me years ago. I let it drop because I wasn't doing enough glass then to justify it. Thanks for the reminder, I'll have to resubscribe.

I get it, almost let my subscription lapse after The Flow started, but then he changed the format and started to compete with The Flow. Made it a much better Mag.

Hello to Everyone,

Thank you for your kind words and remarks, they are greatly appreciated.

I hope you all know that Glass Line is there for you. If there's something you would like to see, or would like to know more about just e-mail me and I'll do what I can to fulfill your request.

On a sadder note, Dale has sold his radio show (Glass Talk Radio) and I will miss him. Hopefully the new owner will carry on where Dale has left off. I can't discuss Dales reasons for selling his show but I can tell you this... the advertisers need to know that the listeners/readers are out there. If you see a free offer... "ordered it" even if you don't really need it, the advertisers do that to see how many people see their ads, same for catalogs, if no one is requesting their catalog... than they're not going to get their product in front of the users. So whatever magazine, forum or radio show you want to support ...do them a favor and contact the advertisers that are in them, that will help you in the long run by keeping the advertisers in your favorite publications, fourm and/or radio stations.

Thank you,
Jim / Glass Line

Jim - with the forth coming changes at GTR, I'll be moving my advertising over to you. I will not support GTR with "Martha Stewart does Glass". No way. I prefer a more professional all-inclusive approach to glassworking, as your magazine does.

I fear that GTR is going to be heading for disaster.

Might as well change it to Bead Talk Radio...no offense meant to bead makers, I too make beads. I just don't want to hear bead talk all the time. I have always liked Dale's show, I hope it's carried on.

Welcome to the forum, Jim. It's very nice to see you here. :D

Hey, Everyone...This is Deborah from Denver (at AGI)... My new article on AGI 2005 is in the new Glassline that is coming out right now and one of my pictures of Lewis Wilson eating fire is on the cover!!!! Please, check it out and let me know if I reported the event correctly. (I also wrote an article in Glassline on last year's event) You need to join www.hotglass.com to get the mag. I think it's really good. Check out the new on on their website under current issues. Enjoy and Hello to everyone.

Welcome to the board

i get glass line... and i love it... so far im waiting for the new issue...

my only problem with it is that is so short.

i think this works both ways really.... for the board and the mag.... i like how this board gives a direct line to the artists and consumers of the products.... and it makes me feel alot better about products i do use when i know that they have repersinitives in some form on the board...

becouse of this board and many of its controbutions i believe i would be in the dark ages...

Well i hope that a board pressence with help both you and us..

and keep up the great work...

peace
