Here's a new design. External downstems penetrating into the main chamber.

The last six months I’ve been in a creative slump, and on Monday morning I woke up with a new idea finally! So I went to the drawing board and I did a little sketch which ended up being a barely legible doodle so Misha had no idea what I was talking about when I showed her, so I put it off for a day or so. :lol Here’s what I ended up with, which is a prototype of only one idea. I have many ideas for this design, but only so much time to be making pipes these days. Amazingly enough it's now more of a hobby for us!

It’s downstems are on the outside, so it chugs like a freight train! It's 10 inches tall

It will be great to see a really nice one of these, when we can get around to making one. :D

That is a very nice job on that pipe. I like the color uniformity.
Great idea having the downs on the outside. I think i will try making one with that in mind.
Keep em comin!!!

looks good, but i'm missing something.....i assume i'm not seeing the proper path of the smoke through the utensil.......it looks like a dub with a slide bowl to me.
clarification?

ps. wait! the top sphere sits on a SOLID section above the main can, doesn't it? i was seein it wrong....thought the snorkel was just a cane. tight piece.

Yeah sorry...it is kinda confusing.

The top little chamber that holds the slide is connected to the arms on the side, which penetrate and diffuse into the bottom chamber...from then on out I'm sure you know where it goes. Matt made the glass on glass joint for this one, super styley!

I have to give MAD ASS PROPS that is a masterpiece ! I love the technical nature of it , bringing in a scientific approach . Is it a "stemless" bub , then switch to a stemmed second perc ? I thought about this , and what you would call it , maybe "stemmedless" . Well the physics and scientific knowledge behind this piece are brilliant , I want to see the second wave , BWOOP BWOOP .

And the piece is so clean! I love the precice, clean nature of the piece. Inspiring, indeed.

Very nice. I would like to see one without the bridge from the top chamber to the water can, give it like a floating effect. Plus, doing that while still making, the outside stems look like cane would freak people out. They'd be thinking, "It's not connected? What?" Then they would try it and freak out.
Definitely keep us posted on this design!

i know this is old but i really like the whole piece, but really really like that the female joint is recessed and its true 3 piece...this is i think is awesome for bubs might be alot harder for but ten time better for the end user and you dont have a bowl up on the air all reckless.
