I am def down with getting a class or too under my belt. I live in Southern IL and was wondering If any one has some cool stuff going down anywhere within reasonable driving distance. Hell I am even down for a weekend at a big shop with informal teaching. Their are a few lampers around and I go to Doc holidays for shop time on occasion. I could really dig a goblet and a marble/implosion class/demo.

Jank and Jr, Acme can supply some color for a Michigan collab! Plus the acme crew would love a chance to go blow glass with people other than themselves.

Alright any weekend in mid September is good for me. Just Dragging Doc out and setting the date is all it going to take. Also we are driving a haul so we will probably have to camp or crash somewhere.

Janky I know your computers down but all has been set and me and doc are coming up! I am stoked about this one. thanks for hosting the get together and I assume you have a grill cause we will have to keep it ripping so we got eats for breaks I am sure if you have 6 acres the convenient mart is probably a drive.

Check out flametreeglass.com and look under workshops. Cheers.

Travis, have you taught at Flametree before? Lance and Maureen are great people. The studio is great, too. I've had a blast teaching there!

jr23, if you're interested, I do private classes at my studio in Richmond, IN. I'm a few miles off of I-70 at the Indiana/Ohio border. Email me at info@stevesizelove.com with any questions.

Steve,
I've known Lance and Maureen for a long time. I used to teach a lot at Flametree when it was in Orlando. I've taught and taken classes at the new studio and you're right, it's a sweet setup. I'm really happy for them. I was actually hoping to come take your class last time, but it just didn't work out. They speak very highly of you. Hope to meet up with you sometime.
For everyone that's not familiar with Flametree, check 'em out. A great place owned by two of the sweetest people I know.
