The Wonka's are cool. Got a late night phone call from AGI, spoke to a lot of people from previous years that missed me, couldn't help it not making it this year, next year I will. Gypsea must of dropped JC's phone cause I lost the connection in the middle of a sentence....sounds like everone was partying pretty good.

I had an incredible time at AGI, met some awesome people and saw some amazing tech. I setup my torch today and had to bust out something. My first work post AGI. Thanks to Elaine and Tom for being so hospitable, making us all feel welcome and feeding us sausage cooked in a tube.
Much Love

Thanks and big ups to Tom and Elaine, and everyone else who came together to make a sweet event! I learned a great deal and I can't wait to get to the shop today and try some new stuff!

Needa get me some gong seals so I can make a dispensing flask... hotcakes, people, hotcakes.

Huge gratitude to everyone, especially those of you who were teaching- I feel reborn, almost. I hadn't put any money into professional development since my first lessons 7 years ago, and I feel like AGI was worth every penny.

I would love to come next year, but perhaps we could do it a week earlier so it's not right at the beginning of the school year? Pretty please?

Oh and Jojo, we need that vid of the campfire hotshop...

Just had to stop in here real quick and send out a HUGE thanks to Tom and Elaine. The past week blew my mind. The Wonka "magic" is for real. It has been so long since I had experienced an event that was so positive. Going to AGI is like stepping into an alternative time / space where your dreams really can come true. I had a blast hanging out with everyone.
AGI is THE glass event to attend. What a pleasure! What a trip!

WOW!! Thank you Tom, Elaine and everybody. I look forward to AGI all year. Every year is better than the last and this year is no exception. I loved seeing everyone again and meeting all the new folks. I'm stoked to get the torch back up and to start ramping back up for next year! Thank you again for making AGI happen and giving us all the opportunity to soak it up. It's a blessing.

Thanks, especially to Tom and Elaine, and everybody else too, for being so hospitable and freindly. It's great to have a place where you can learn so much and meet so many like minded people. But, I do have to agree with the moch, it sucks being back at work now after such a good time.

Oh, and the airport security loved my body shop necklace that Kevin made; they told me my shit was blinging.

Peace

Gotta say to those who didn't make it because of the cost, you have no idea what the value of this event is!!!! This was my first year and I have to tell you that if you spend no money all year on lessons or anything like that, you have GOT to go to AGI!!!!!
Tom and Elaine, what an event!! no matter how much it cost, we can never repay you for the opportunity it gives us. Thanks for the opportunity!!
And all you glassblowers, man what a great group of people!!! i have never been around such a wonderful group of people. Especially glassblowers. Usually at events such as this in glassblowing, I have found them to be rather suspicious and secretive. But not at this event!!!! Thank you all for being so helpful!!
I could go on and on about the people and the event but you will just have to take my word on the value.....it truly is priceless!!!!!
Just to watch Emilio was worth the $600!!!
oH MY gOD, AND THE FOOD!!!!! thanks Kevin!!!!

Thank you all again for a wonderful experience!!!!

drove through the night got home about 430am.

Its totally awesome that AGI is over. The real world and my crappy job are obviously WAY better than camping drinking eating learning and hanging out with some of the coolest people I've met in a long ass time.....who actually listen when I talk about glass....theres thats about as sarcastic as I can be

Thank you so much to Tom and Elaine. I'll be there next year. Thanks to everybody else as well presenters and attenders... I learned so much. Called Nortel yesterday to talk about the Rocket for a bit...set it up and raged that thing all night.

I had such a good time hanging out with other artists and making an ass of myself...life just doesn't get much better than that. Thanks to everyone for everything. Tom and Elaine...it is so amazingly generous of y'all to share your place with us...so the next "hot seat" is on me. I hope everyone made it home safely. Alex and I got in early this morning after a slight hitch. If anyone is driving home between Cincinnati and Louisville, keep your eyes peeled for a blue butterfly velcro walet that lept from the roof of my car...if you find it, be a good little dear and send me home my money.
