this year we are donating our proceeds to rawa {the revoiutionary association of woman of afghanistan} rawa.com started in 1977 as an independant political/ social organization of afghani woman fighting for human rights and for social justice in afghanistan. i chose this organization becuase i've been to the middle east and have seen how woman are treated. an art show in austin, tx had pictures of these woman on the wall with thier storys. all of the woman that started this group are revolutionarys that have been to hell and back... i think anything we give them will be more than then they would have expected ecpecially from glassblowers in the us.....feel free to check out thier website, they have up to date info on who's being kidnapped or shot all the normal day to day issues they deal with

in all due respect, and PLEASE do not take this offensively....but something Has to be done about that femaleflameoff.net page! really, i am not trying to be rude... i am trying to help yall out and get people interested. but ive been laughed at several times after sending someone to that web page. it seriously needs a spell check.
again i say...i am NOT trying to be rude....but the web page is pretty much how people get their first impression of the flame off (And we ALL know how important a first impression may be) and it seems really unprofessional.
