World Flame Off - less than a week away (Sept. 5, 6 & 7)

Hey everybody,

I'm posting this here since it gets more traffic...move if necessary.

we are extending the deadline to sign up for the World Flame Off until Tuesday, September 2nd. We totally forgot that this is Labor Day weekend, so a lot of folks could be on vacation already.

My Dad and Mom drive out to Tucson on Tuesday, I follow at the crack of dawn on Wednesday the 3rd. So, if you have been debating signing up - Tuesday is the absolute last day to do it. (Well, technically you might have until 4am Wednesday when I head out of town)

Also, if you are planning to come by the show (Friday and Saturday 10am - 6pm, and Sunday 10am -5pm) to visit, shop, or just want to watch the Flame Off, we still have good rates at hotels pretty close to the Convention Center. You can find more info on the show itself at this link:

Jennifer and I fly out Thursday, and will be there in the afternoon with Barry.

Flame off slot Saturday, 2pm. I will have a tip jar out. Since Jonesy is going to win all the categories, I will need to make gas money anyways. Bring your A game homie.

I'll be there on Saturday. Decided to opt out of the flame off this year. Just gonna go and watch. It's the first flame off I will see and am looking forward to seeing some awesome glass goodness!
