I read somethin earlier that sparked my imagination ...what type or style of ventelation do glass artists prefer to work in/ under??inside or outside ?a hood or ventelated box at bench ,a huge ventelated stidio under 1 big ventalated room? you get the idea...chime in please with your" prefered" style of ventelation...you could save a lung...flame on.Drue
I like to fume alot when doing prodo pankers so a hood and a good fan is a must. I realy I mean realy like make up are shooting from behind my head so no fumes can dead space on me! and prefer to have a bench top exhaust too so bubble trash particulates and swirling fume clouds cannot escape hood vent desk area! I have had many setups each one a little healther than the previos. Just use common sence and study and ask any question no mater how dumb it sounds! it is your health!

A hood with makeup air vented in through the bench for winter. Once its warm, I open all the windows for my makeup air and close the bench top vent.
I've got a door in the basement I open for make up air. My bench is right infront of a window so i've got an attic fan installed in the window with a hood. Got the fan at Home Depot on sale for $20, 1600 CFM
