While I was making this marble, DH was making this ax. Gotta love a man with a torch! :flamethro

Sorry, none of the ax is glass.....but I had to show it off anyways 'cause I thought it was cool (Hubs will not go near glass :( ) ....we are big on Halloween and like to decorate the yard.

Is it just me or does the ax blade look created in photoshop. That blood definatley looks like PS to me. Im not saying its not tight but it looks a little fake to a photoshop geek. The marble is very nice as well.

LOL nope....though Hubs is a computer guy, the blade is 100% real. He cut it out freehand from scrap metal. The blood is acrylic paint. It might have a postery look because I took the photo at night with a flash....
here's another piece he did for me.....
well, this pic looks kinda fake too...... :lol oh well...

O i See now thats why it has that odd glare. Night picture explains it all now. One directional light made it look super flat. Anyway props to your hubby thats mad skill.

Did he cut that out of metal using a cutting torch or some thing? If so he's pretty good.
