"Glass Alchemy has worked closely with artists over the years to develop and test new colors. Revolution 33® is a fun way for us to release new colors and work with a wider group of artists to determine which colors will be part of the Glass Alchemy Boromax-palette."

Revolution 33 is the new color development program from Glass Alchemy, which was previously known under the name “Glasstique” (which was hijacked by another company).

As part of Revolution 33, Glass Alchemy is releasing short run batches of first quality color and selling them on their eBay store. These colors are not “experimental”; they have been compatibility tested.

As part of the program, Glass Alchemy is asking for user feedback to help determine what their new permanent colors will be. Glass Alchemy wants artists to help fuel the evolution / revolution of the borosilicate industry. As I understand from Henry, there will be a lot of new and cool things in the near and distant future.

Revolution 33 is what Glass Alchemy represents for this industry... they are not just a company making glass, they are expanding possibilities, as exampled by The Degenerate Art: The Art and Culture of Glass Pipes gallery show.

If any of you have any questions, criticism, or suggestions about colors, call GA directly... they are here for us and will help you in any way possible. Input from us... the end users, is the only way they can expand our color palate the way we want (and need) as glass artists.

Much respect… Tom

Can they just do that?

Can they just do that?if they don't patent, or trademark it, then yes, anyone can use, or trademark it. A lot of people do that, or shifty crap, for example, there is a store in North Carolina, called "the Rock-n-Roll Outlet", it was known for tobbacco accessories, t-shirts, stickers, general head shop. People just knew the name "Rock-n-roll Outlet". Well another giuy came to town, and wanted to open a store, and called the owner, to ask how much for a franchise. His name was Mike, and him and his wife had no intrest in buying a franchise, so they just named themselve "Rock-n-Roll Village", and marked everything up 800 to 1500%. Seriously, they sold 3 inch Phantom spoons for $39.95, which they bought at $5 each. Mike would never, EVER spend over $20 for a pipe. He bought acrlics in bulk, paid $8 for a 24 inch acrilic straight tube, and sold them for $79.95. It gavwe the Rock-n-roll Outlet a bad name, until people relized mike was just scamming them. If it wasent for Operation pipe dreams, they would have been shut down, for bankruptcy.

to this day, the way Mike ran his hsop (begging customers for TREES, writing fake scripts, etc) is the reason why the Rock-n-roll outlet got stuck in the shitstorm of Op-pipe dreams.

Anyway the experimental colors, anyone know if Kristian and Generations is carrying any of them?

I don't think anyone besides GA carries them. The good ones sell out in an hour on ebay. The bad ones....I think they crush them up and fill a lot of fish tanks

I am really diggin on this program . There are colors that got pushed under the rug during the name change .I sure hope they re release them I really like alot of the crayola's. pumkin orange (a red striking orange crayon ) kelp green(a brownish green that was very retro looking) butternut (a dark goldenrod color that reminds me of the way rasta gold looked back in the day) Ochra (a nice yellow with a green tint) sweet patotoe pie (a nice brownish orange ) and there where a few more . The really teally is pretty nice and creamy and the auqua chameleon is sick . Here is a piece I did with aqua chameleon blow ins and really teally in the line work .
