i was talking to a shop on the phone, trying ot get an order, she asked me if my pipes were single or double blown, i said " ohh mine are all tripple blown" shes was very impressed.
i laughed and then begain to tell her that this is a non existant theory and a salespitch used by the chineese to see you cheap glass. went out on a limb with the put down, but she was happy i was honest and took an order.
thought it was pretty dman funny, it was early, i was quite blunt, but it payed off.

shoulda told her alot of things, i sure got a good chuckle out of it. she is from PEI haha, pretty much secluded from the real world.
I dont get why people even ask that, if you are going to spit that bullshit Id assume you would always say that its tripple blown.

As a shop owner / blower this is a phrase I hear ALL the time. It is ingrained in our culture, I usually ask the custy if that means there were two blowers (three for triple blown) huffing and puffing on the piece.........
