This is mostly for the Austinites...but it's good to be in this business and live in such a liberal city. The University of Texas just printed an article about my shop mate Alex (Mr.Smith) in their paper. I was misquoted...bad journalism...but she's a student so I'll cut her some slack. My actual comment didn't sound like I was trashing GA.org and was very appreciative of both GA and GP. I've heard plenty of people say the Austin glass scene is jacked but it's all in how you work it. Alex has ZERO glassblower drama, all the shops love him, and tons of people here in town know his work after only two years.
