Bought a cricket a few weeks ago, usually I buy new torches to try them and pass them along. I bought this with the hot orange body. I used it to make 1 pendant only, so its got about 20 minutes use on it. My plan was to have a similar flame to my pre-mix torch, but to work silver based colors that only a surface can do. I decided not to keep it so..I paid the introductory price of $139.00 plus the $15.00 for the color, I'll sell it for the $139.00 plus shipping.
VISA/MC accepted.

just a tad big. The original gtt prototype Willy showed me at agi is the perfect pendant size, I have a photo of it, its maybe 3-4 inches long. I was going to make a glass GTT for him, but he never got back to me. The plan was to do the barrel in 3/4 in. rod and then the bracket in sandblasted sheet glass, with a walnut wood base cut to specs of the original base..it still is in the back of my mind to do one.

steve, do you think you could do a review? or did you really only try to use it for that one application?

Really, I only made that 1 pendant with it. Of course I played with the settings, I never went real small, but this torch can, don't know why anyone would use the smallest setting though, it would take awhile to heat a joint up for instance.
I can't do a review on the time I had it, maybe Earlbacker will.

I bought one just for fuming. I did try it with a disk flip frig magnet. seemed to work fairly well . I used a 25mm med wall tube and added a lens using a 12mm rod. unlike the other GTT torches the barrel gets bloody hot and I will say I really dont feel comfortable standing at or over the torch it is really really small. I will have to make a stand or something, but for what $135 its a good buy. sorry for the huge picture and the stained glass looming in the back ground and the bubbles. the piece below was about the size of a quarter and stolen out of my booth at the market I attend.
