i'm selling my lap, its an 8" ameritools. comes with the polishing wheels and i believe 3 diamond wheels: 1-8", and 2-6" discs. the lap new with the discs retails for $629, i'm looking to get $400 + shipping.

also for sale aim 99ls/d, i have been contemplating selling this thing for a little while now, and i don't have much of a choice at this point. taking that next step in business, and this stuff has to go. looking for $550 plus shipping. my zip code is 85710. pics of that also available to anyone interested.

Hello eridu, I was digging around in my friends shop. He is a retired silversmith and rock hound. While I was there I found a 6 inch flat lap with adjustable stand and water tub. My question for you is have you used the lap wheel for simple facets and if so what kind of medium do you use for boro? I see you mention diamond wheels and polishing wheels. But I have no clue as far as this go's and he said I could run machine any time and use his wheels too! He just could not remember where they are. So I am asking so I can buy some, as always any help would be appreciated!
