gtt's don't usually sell for much less then retail, mine as well get a new one.
If they are available go for the new. On occasion you get lucky. Although I have seen a few beth pm2d's up for sale that would be the shit for a dedicated beginner. You dont have to rage it. Also everyone who buys a cuda ends up going bigger before they thought they would. Plus cudas are up in price.

We have a GTT Mirage that has been collecting dust in our shop... We would let it go for $1500 with free USPS shipping, insurance, and DC#. It might be a tad too large for a beginner though.
Ive got a pm2d w.c fer 1250.

i got a mint condition redmaxx with a premix tip that only has about 30 hours use tops. oh yeah a marver attached too.
i sold one just like it to jstuna a while back and i am sure he will vouch for me.
you said no carlisle but i do have a mint condition cc that i got from robert mickelsen that i plan to sell also.
as for the gtt, i do have a lynx i might sell but as was already mentioned the gtt torches hardly ever sell much under retail.
not sure if i am going to let it go yet....
i will sell the redmaxx for $400 plus shipping.

Here are pics if you are at all interested. We just strapped her down on the bench wiped the dust off the face and fired her up. NO clogged ports, and the candles are clean and burn even. There is a TINY little dent on the shaft and there is plenty of scratches on the base... Other than that, its a perfect torch.
It is a 2 STUD and was last serviced by GTT in March of 2005. It has been used 40-50 hours MAX since then, I have been using a Delta and just recently got a Kobuki
hey dr. , would have taken the mirage if it was a four stud. still a great deal. stroker- would take the lynx if it's in decent shape. would you consider going $375? thanks, but no thanks on the carlilse. how much on the red max?

Thats why I am offering it for only $1500 OBO. GTT charges $175 for a manifold conversion, my Delta is a 2 stud and I have been considering getting it switched over. no big deal, I just hate knowing this torch has gotten NO use at all in almost 3 years... Somebody could really use it I am sure.
sorry stroker, didn't see the price at the bottom of your post. could you pm some pics to me? might take it off your hands.

thats a steal @ $1500 and if you don't rock a pedal who cares if it's a 2 stud.... i had to shell out extra $$ for hardware to make mine a 2 stud since i don't have a pedal
