I thought it was solid too! It wasn't that cool until you find out it's hollow and he puts the different colored liquids in it. It was like one of those awesome movies that doesn't come together until the end!

Seems like so many other countries work with the flame pointing up to the celing and most Americans work with the flame pointed away from us.

seen a few scientific blowers and neon blowers(via web, dvd, and tv) that work the same way.

There was so much intelligence used in that statement, did you stay up all night thinking about that one?

If you look at the John Burton book from the seventies, it will show pictures of his torch set up. It is a national 3-a blow pipe laid on its back. With the flame aiming up. That is the way he worked and most likely the way that he taught Suellen Fowler.

If you haven't noticed there isn't much intellegence in any of my statements. So don't bother looking for it or you'll just be disappointed. :blowkiss:

if you have limited room, aiming your flame on an upwards slant will help keep from burning up your boxfan!

that was KooL for sure...
he spit out the excess liquid and
that makes me wonder, what is it...???
if it was KooL-Aid, he would have still spit it out but,
i just have the image of the guy in India spitting the
silvering agent (mercury???) stuck in my mind,
when it comes to glass blowers, in other countries...
