From what I remember, HA suggests the air to be from 7-14 psi. The max air will be used in the gas/air/oxy setting that is designed for soda lime tubing. Though I don't use it often, it is perfect for flame annealing. Super loud, though...... It's much different than the the hotter gas/oxy/air flame for boro.

Hi
7.5 to 14.5 psi.
I do use it when working soda lime glass. Its important that you have an air dryer in the supply line to remove moisture....I use a Devibliss dessicant dryer meant for automotive paint sprayers......works like a charm

i run mine @ 40 so the lower knob will turn the whole flame blue (no yellow). works fine for the centerfire air too. i like the higher air pressures, and use it often. great for fuming that way
i got a porter cable air compressor with a 20 or 30 gallon tank on it at lowes for about 2 bills
