Hi to all,
Robert Mickelsen will be teaching a three day sculpting workshop at FlameTree Glass in November of 2009!

"Nature in Glass"
This class will focus on nature themes as a means to develop freehand sculpting and constructing skills using flameworked borosilicate glass. We will examine the possibilities of color, texture, and form in nature.We will explore insects, birds, fish and small animals. We will experiment with plant forms to provide a context or an
environment for our "critters". There will be extensive hands-on instruction and demonstrations. Some prior flameworking experience, either in hard glass or soft glass, is recommended for this class.
