a friend of mine asked for a nice double bub and this is what i came up with. unfortunatly when i was attaching the inline section i didnt have enough heat in the weld and while trying to bridge it cracked and i wasnt able to fully repair it. its functional and chugs real nice so ill probably just keep it around. this was a bit step in my work it took me way out of my comfurt zone so even tho it cracked im still proud of how far i got. i think i will be able to pull off the next one (hopefully). i just need to figure out a way to make changing the water easier. any suggestions from those of you who have made peices like this would be greatly appriciated.

wow!

nice
usually the "cracked but functional" ones get kept or given to friends

how did you do the inline holes?

i just blew the holes out. i was only able to get 4 holes but it works well. i need to get a saw but for now blowing them out works well enough

That looks like a tricky one to make VED,with the size, inline & donut twist action, nice job. It's pretty cool looking though ,sucks it checked, but I've found everytime I step it up a bit, that happens ,then you do another one or two & it'll be waaaaay easier.

nice pipe man, although im not a fan of inline bubs. There a cool concept but not practical at all. I prefer the style where the first can stands upright

thanks for the compliments everyone, im not sure what u mean by "when the first can is upright" isnt that what i have going on with this one? if u mean second can then i understand. ill give the not pratical part but really when u get in to headdy work (or attempts at headdy work) not much is pratical, i just lovve to see all the bubbles comming trough the defused inline so thats why i did it. plus my friend that requested the pipe wanted something out of the ordinary, i know these are becomeing more and more popular but here in iowa its not to common to see them in shops so its doubtful he will see anyone else local with a similar peice. (when i make him a successful one of course) thanks again for all the compliments.

p.s. im still trying to figure out a better way to make these so water change is easier, rt now you either have to tip it back and forth and get the water out of the mouth peice or pull the down stem out. i dont really want to go with a 3 peice gong set up but if i have to i have to.

I think he did mean second can. where they r both up right. looks nice. try tungston for the holes and you can get as many as you want and they will all be the same size.
