I have reached my boiling point with my oxy suppliers. I am wondering if I should go with a concentrator or micro bulk. I am not even sure if they will do micro bulk but I think the con would be better because it is on demand. The last time I checked the con I would need to run three red max torches would cost 13,000. If anyone has input on quality concentrators it would be much appreciated, or if you think I am better to go with micro bulk that would be helpful too. Thanks, J

I only have experience with Extreme Oxygen EX-15 units. They do not put out to spec and do not work well when more than 2-3 are used in series. You will need something to bump up the pressure and a holding tank is helpful as well. Basically the onsite pro 4/8 model, but you can build that yourself.
In short, my experience has led me to understand that if you go with an oxycon/gen, don't go cheap, you get what you pay for. Also keep in mind that a concentrator will not give you the >99% pure o2 you get from tanks/liquid, therefore providing a more reducing atmosphere.

i would just get 3 10lpm medical concentrators. one for each minor. and use tanks for the big flame.of course you need to turn the torches into 4 stud.

Jonathon, hang in there another month or so (I hope that is as long as it takes to get my new space up and running). You will then be welcome to check out my setup just down the road from you. I'm getting: an air dryer, 2 OG20's, a RIX Microboost and dumping output into cylinders for later use.
