Necklace clasps (non-silver)

Anyone know of a good sugestion or place to pick up a necklace clasp that isnt made of silver. My girlfriend is alergic to silver and keeps trying to put together and wear pendants I have made for her. But every clasp she has found is made of silver. Im thinking stainless steel or brass or something. Any feedback is most appreciated.

make one out of glass. Just make a flat disk that slips through a loop in the end of the necklace. Or you can make a donut for one end, and a bar (with a hole in the center for the necklace). Take the bar and slip it through the donut. Good luck!

I thought about the glass clasp method Sharp spoke of but my girlfriend is a huge clutz and would probablly break the clasp and stab herself.

Anyone else got any ideas?

are you sure it's the silver?
if you know the clasps were SILVER, by all means use something else, but it's much more common to be allergic to nickel, and much more common to find clasps that aren't made of silver (silver colored pot metal usually contains nickel)
