hey all, check out this forced perc double bub i made today. first attempt of anything like this, i was practicing my seals. any suggestions on how to do this better please share!

these are the faults i have thought of so far with this piece, please point out more and give me feedback on how to correct these.

welding the 2 curved tubes together seems like a bad idea, i should have put a bridge between them instead

need another weld on the dry chamber to the forced perc chamber

need do do something differently with the angles and the shape of the forced perc chamber, if not held at the right angle water bubbles over the water and right into the other tube

snorkle carb would be cool, but dont think its 100% necessary for functionality

didn't even try to make it stand, but it probally would have with a few adjustments

-- thanks everyone, i'm looking forward to your feedback so i can make a sweet one of these

that tungsten fume in the bowl i forgot to mention, closed up the hole while pushing the bowl, another problem

hi poncho ,
nice work , this is the first time I see a forced perc and I dont understand how it work , do you have any link or pix of a fonctional one ? btw nice work I'm working on my seals to , the best way i found to make them clean is to make both lips really hot than stick them and fully melt them with a pin point flame and it seem to work great for me !

how does that bottom bubble work?/, looks like it might suck water right up the stem..

just a flat front i bet ya could have made it stand easy.. never know till ya try..

keep it up./..

yeah the second chamber definetly looks like it would suck water up. If you tilt it forward it might not but then water would run back into the main. Did you fill it up and give it a try? Also to remove the tungsten fume just blast it with a very fine hissy oxydising flame.
