Man, I gotta 2412, and i love it!! If anyone who is into serious production is wondering what to get, drop the extra cash for the 2412, or 2418. The lateral space allows for 25 blowtubes at a time, and that equals a lot of prodo!! real moneymaker.

Thanks for the sweet prices, tom!

btw: these prices are less than I paid for mine used... good deals!

Thanks for the responses everyone, I really appreciate it.

FYI- If you would like a heavy duty mercury relay, add $70.00 to the price of any kiln.

Thanks again, and let me know if you need anything, and I'll give you the best service possible.

I called him up and for those of you who don't know him he is a kind and helpful guy, very easy to talk to. I will definitely be getting an aim through him!!!

What is your shipping cost to Sanford, NC for the 9169 D?
Thanks

Thanks Shiela, it was great to meet you!

Aymie- I'll have some used kilns for sale at AGI so maybe you can just drive home with one : )

Renee, I'm not very familiar with the shipping costs, but the 9169 is a heavy kiln, so you can probably expect to pay somewhere around the $200.00 range.

One more thing: Aim is changing their analog pyrometers to something a little reliable than the needle gauges. Now there will be a digital style gauge which is far more accurate : )

Hey guys I am trying to figure out what stuff I need to get started lamp working and I was told the 99ls was a bad ass kiln for the price but was just wondering what the difference is with analog or digital and if I should get the digital or not?

digital. it is worth the extra money for a set point controller and ramping segments.

I hope everyone is happy with their kilns, and thank you for choosing me as as your distributor... I'm always here to answer questions and help you out with any problems you might have.

Please e-mail me at info@glass123.com, or call me at (724) 791-2100... you'll get a much faster response than you would by sending me a PM, as I don't check the forum as much as I should.

xangthan... as PJ said, go for the digital if you can afford it. If you lose one kiln load of production, the digital controller would have paid for itself that day. My first 99 was an analog, and I lost several days of work by forgetting to turn it off before I closed the shop for the night.

Thanks again, and much respect : )
