Is anybody concerned with the fact that the public knows about CHAMPS and AGE? Everybody on toke city is talking about it, a lot of the people are just your avarage joe, not really in the pipe industry. Saying they are going. Just looking for a cool pipe. I know it is a private event and not open to the public but there will be a lot of people trying to get in and sneaking in ect ect...

So does this bother anyone else?

You cant really sneek into champs unless you know someone that is holding down the fort. The AGE show you can just go take the tour and hang out with the people at the hotel. Both shows are great. I will be at the next one. The Champs show is easy to get into but if you try to buy just one peice the venders might catch on and not sell to you but hey have fun. I had a blast last year.

everyone heading to champs should look into staying here http://www.terriblescasinos.com/hotel.php they just remodeled and the have some off the cheapest rates between 24.99-64.99 if I remember correctly. Plus it is located only a block from the strip with a less then 5 min drive to the Riviera.(I don't work for them just giving a little local in site).

i just booked a room at the circus circus for 45 a night. I checked with the riviera and they were out of rooms, the royal is right across the street from the riviera.

To bad the Westward Ho got torn down. $30 a night. $1 Newcastle and Hienekin. It was right next door to the Stardust where they held CHAMPs for a while. Get 4 beers for the price of one at Stardust.

I dunno what I got... it's their deluxe premium view room.... if it's not one of the newly renovated rooms I'm gonna bitch and cruise around the strip till I find something I like.

Defcon was at the alexis park many years ago, it's a nice place. we took apart the mini bar, drank it all, and screwed the door back on. They never checked. Book the frank sinatra sweet at the riv the view is amazing. I was at a after hours there the bathroom is so nice I could have stayed there for a month.

Its at the riv, the cost of getting in is knocking on one of the unguarded doors lol.

You need a pass to get in normally like vendor or shopowner whatever.

If you are staying at the riv, do no eat at any of the restaurants, they suck. Much better food elsewhere. I havent been but the buffet at the Wynn is the talk of the town.

From what I know Blaze one is only putting on a show at the rio not the cup.If there was a cup going on it would not be in a cleared out grow house either .More like a sick pad with a pool inside,a full functioning bar,a secret poker room in the basement, a private cave hot tub connected to a nice outside pool.not to mention it probable would be fully catered with all the alcohol you can drink.That is of coarse if my friends were but it on.

I guess you did not go to their cup last year. It was in a McMansion on DI. Dont get me wrong the house was nice but you can tell it was a cleared out grow house. They ran out of alcohol with in 2 hours. They said they would have a limo bringing people back to the Riv every thirty minutes. A fat limo picked us up at the Riv and we never saw it again. I has to call cabs for me and 6 or 7 other peole because the party was lame. Got there at 9, they didnt start with the samples untill almost one. It sucked. Hey maybe they cleaned up there act and they are throwing cool parties. Just pissed me off that some chick talked me into buying a couple tickets and got shafted. We were promised Bobby Black from HT magazine and fucking celeberties. All we got was Los Marijuanos and PYRX. Gay.

I was at the party and had a great time and drank free all night.But I am sure you will have no problem finding another party where all you need to pay is $125 to be provided food,drink,and other while conducting "safety meetings" in a private house (which is a party rental property that is only used for that purpose and never to grow).But if your looking to have a bad time I am sure it is easy to find

I dont mean to call you a liar but we must have been at different parties. Oh wait there was a couple pizzas, for 80-100 people. With a side of bufflo wings. I am sorry Dr.Bob I did not have fun, maybe you did. Maybe there was a section where all the cool kids hung out and I was not apart of it, we will never know.

lol....I missed the busta rhymes event, heard it was kinda weak ... too short opened and busta did one cover at the end....weak.

but all that aside, I had a great time, I am at the airport now on my mini netbook, can't type well in these little keys. Adam was a great show guide, hooked me up with some good people, etc. Got to meet a bunch of you, good times all around!
