The base powder is claimed to be non-toxic. You'd have to get am MSDS to be sure.

I will be at CHAMPS all day with a few samples (they're going fast) and pounds and QPs to sell for $100/lb

J/K really like grey says below if your fan and hood are doing its job smell should go right out the vent. If you smell stuff on the reg stuff I would kick up your fan a notch.

.... um...gasoline? check your hoses. there's not even a petroleum derivative in it....

besides that check your ventilation.... could use work if you're smelling burnt glass.

On that note, nothing in the world is truly non-toxic. At a certain amount anything is toxic, air, water, salt, etc...

AFAIK as I have been told by the manufacturer the base colorants are non-toxic rare earth metals. any time you melt something it can form new compounds based on your atmosphere and included chemistry.

I would NEVER suggest somsone put it to the test by intentionally trying to expose themselves to it in any unusual manner, but i cant hold your hand while you work.

I should restate that these colors are no MORE toxic than any of the other colors we work with on a daily basis. I have seen Joe ingest the powder, but i don't think he would be willing to snort up the vapors.... that's just stupid.

If you're not happy with the product send it back for a refund. If you'd like I will get the MSDS and send it to you.
