I forgot to post this picture from the harvard museum of natural history that i took a while ago. I've talked here before about all the amazing glass flowers there before, but i wanted to share this picture anyways.

not sure when it was exactly made, but some time around 1887 - 1936 when they made their work... wiki link here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glass_Flowers

i have some pictures of glass sea life work also that i'm pretty sure they made also. I'll post those a little bit later

The Blaschka flowers. Mind blowing exhibit.

Some of their marine life was incredible as well.

blah looked through the old folder and didn't have as many pics of the sea work as i thought. I wish i had a tripod for these because the lighting wasn't that great... but they don't let you bring a tripod in.

can you imagine pumping on the bellows all day while trying to make shtuff? Im feeling tired thinking about it. On the other hand, if them bellows could provide the juice to run a delta it might be worth it

Blashka bros were bad ass.
Back in those days hard work was a moral imperative.
No technology, work your land for food, barter system, good times.
