Gratefully Blown

:bouncy:Hi and thanks to all that post here. Yous are great. I am new to the idea of torch work and dont really know alot about using boro except through reading the forum. I worked furnace glass for 3 years and know how molten glass moves but am vauge when it comes to torch work. I have seen the work of ghost and relate it to the work of william morris whom is a furnace worker from seattle. I know it is ambitious to think I can do this work but my end goal is to make pieces like these two artists out of boro (blown sculpted powder). Not thinking I can make this work to start but hoping to in years to come. I have scrotinized over what torch to buy and finally decided on a gtt lynx (comes in may), so that i can learn the center fire and move up to a phantom in the future. I think this is possibly a good torch to start out on? As far as any other decisions I am in the dark. Kiln, POwders, mil, color, ventilaion hood, tools, ect. Don't know where to start. I live in columbus, ohio and have ability to travel and or a secure place to stay in the orlando ,fl area. Wondering if anybody knows how to work like these artists close to these areas and will teach me , or if ghost does apprentice or teaches. I need a teacher and advice in how to reach my end goal. Thank. I am intrested in 1 on 1 instruction, no schools. Can pay. How much?
