Ok, so I spent the better part of the day talking with istream. Here is the deal:
In order to keep people from demonoiding and youtubing, we had to go with a DRam platform, which still has issues. Apparently the proper software hasn't been released by netflix, who developed it. Eric at istream is setting up a new site which should solve all the problems.
Jenn and I are having troubles watching it. Believe it or not, we didn't get to see hardly anything in the controlled explosion environment of this event. I am on it and will post the results. If you have had issues, please contact me directly. I will compile the list and get it over to istream until everybody got what they paid for.
We gladly paid the $30 as well.
Respect,
boxfan

Good luck with selling many dvd's!!! I hope you guys make your moeny back so many more flameoff's can go down. Keep your hopes up. You always have to remember that this is just the first one and more people will attend as the years go on. Also, now you can figure out how to cut some cost, like how much fuel and oxy to buy. And maybe have a badass auction after the competion for the works of art.
Again,...Good luck!

So you paid $30 before the price was lowered down to $15? Cause now it's $15, but I'm sure you know that anyway. ?
This is a quote from the email I got today about the lowered price: "The International Hot Glass Invitational for a limited time is offering the On Demand Video/Web Stream of last weekends events at a reduced price. For limited time The On Demand portion of the recordings are available for purchase for the price of $14.99."
The way that is worded it sounds to me like the price is going to go back up to $30? Is that right? I wonder if some of the people who paid $30 will be unhappy now that it is 1/2 price? I'm not trying to start any conflict, as I know this topic has already had its fair share, but I am confused about this and I'm trying to decide if I should buy it now or not.
I might just wait for the DVD instead. Is the price of the DVD still yet to be determined?

I was not asked for my opinion nor was I giving a heads up on this. Been a frequent problem with me producing this show with others. To many cooks in the freeking kitchen.
Shit, if I knew I would have told everybody, including myself to wait a day or two and save some loot.
Let me apologize in advance!

I'm broke as a joke, but I'm planning to get the webcast, AND get the dvd when it comes out. I'd suggest that anyone who really wants this to become a regular event and not just a one-shot deal, should do the same.

OK, so after a few more hours, here is the everything I have been able to find out. This should remedy all problems.
A few things to look for:
1. The webstream does not work well with Internet Explorer 8. Please download Mozilla Firefox to view the stream.
2. Some Mac OS have troubles with the stream. If that is the case, please e-mail me directly boxfanwilly@gmail.com
3. The stream has to be viewed on the same computer you purchased the stream from. This is a drawback to secure DRM webstreaming. Apologies for any inconvenience.
4. For any other issues, they are most likely from your media player. Please use the troubleshooting site

I have to chime in here - just downloaded Mozilla so I could see the webcast - Archer (my 6 y.o. ) is bouncing off the walls so I haven't seen all of anything - just zipping through, but what I've seen so far is truly amazing, and quite honestly well worth it. (BTW, Team Lonestar, Archer is pumped and wants to work the t-shirt gun next year...):flamethro
I'm going to get the DVD, but decided I couldn't wait until it's released to see all the action. I'm so glad I got the webcast!
If you have NOT gotten the webcast yet, do yourself a favor and get it NOW!!!!! Do your friends a favor and tell them to get it now too!
peace,

just wondering what/who i should deal with.
thanks--seth
I'm having problems with it too, I've got picture but no sound. Sent an email to support@istreamplanet.com a few hours ago, we'll see if they have anything helpful to say.

Nemesis and Seth,
Let me know if they were of any help. They have been slow to respond. I got the tech guys cell number, as well as the VP's. E-mail me at boxfanwilly@gmail.com and I will guarantee the shit gets solved.
I am assuming that the 4 things I posted previously did not alleviate your problem.

EDIT: Nevermind....... I got some quick help after emailing istream! I am now able to watch the full event and it's working great! I ended up buying the webcast last night and I was able to watch the Friday stream, but every time I try to play Saturdays event I get this error message that my license has already been delivered. I've tried a lot of things to remedy this already, but I can't figure it out. In the last IHGI thread gremlinglass had this exact same problem as me. Anyone have any tips - or is this the kind of problem only istreamplanet can fix?
What I have seen so far was awesome! I just hope I can finish watching the 2nd half of this epic event. Big ups to Wil and everyone else who helped put this together. I can't even imagine trying to hook up all those hoses and fittings...

hey Chris, What I did was send an email explaining the problem to: support@internationalhotglassinvitational.com
&
support@istreamplanet.com
I sent it to both emails to increase my odds of getting a quick answer... I got a reply less than 20 minutes later with a solution.
Or you could wait for boxfanwilly to see your post. Either way it should be pretty easy to get a fix once someone sees your question.
hope that helps

Gotta say, Boxfan, your customer service is IMPECCABLE!!! Big props to you for putting on such a great event AND for your conscientious follow-through! :jump::cheerlead::clap:
Best,
