Ok....So I've never worked anything but boro my whole life. How would I slump a wine bottle into a Cheese Plate. I work on a Barracuda and it sayz it can handle soft glass. I have no idea what temps to put my kiln on or if a torch is even needed. Thanks for any info........Slick:o:

You know how the kiln gets too hot and you make a big load of pancake pipes? Do that on purpose. Get the kiln up to 1100-1200 with bottles in there. Beer bottles work for stove top spoon rests

My moms picked up one of those for us for Christmas. It's not perfectly flat, and I find it about useless for cutting on, but for presentation it's pretty cool. The one we got has a twisted copper wire put in the mouth of the bottle. It can be used to hang the bottle, and since it's copper, it avoids COE issues.
