Glass Blowing/Lampworking

What are the differences? I want to learn how to make glass pipes, i see people calling it glass blowing and lampworking.

lamp working refers to the method used to melt the glass (torch or lamp) other terms u might hear is furnace work this is the old school method where big poles and furnaces are used. but its all glass blowing

ps lampworking is what u do to make pipes

okay, thank you very much. I now need to find a class i can take so i can learn, anyone know of any in California in the Sacramento 916 area?
