great photos chris, thanks a ton!

and not to really thread-jack but ...........

can someone explain this to me... it looks like the outer propane is on while the center flame is being used, i don't get why and have never heard of using the torch this way... is it to keep an area from getting too cool? seems like it'd be really distracting.

He did that a lot - I'm pretty sure he was keeping the piece warm / flame annealing, so as no to have to deal with garaging while working. It was really amazing how much he did and put together in the alloted time!

mr. Grey assembly was so big, he had to keep it all hot. In the first picture you and clearly see he has "sooted" with soot, must of the finished work. And that keeps the heat in on exposed glass until you can anneal the whole thing.

Aweseome snapshots as a whole.

on behalf of the volunteers, coordinators and artists we'd like to thank you all so much for coming, we truly enjoyed ourselves through the entire event. it was great to meet so many of you from all over the country. i've never seen such a large group of people come together without the slightest hint of drama. we knew our community was good family but we were blown away by the beauty of it all.

I just uploaded my pics on glasspipes:
check the Dizzle plasma action! Staying until 4 am was rough, but totally worth while not to mention Justin offered us free beer towards the end!
