Lately I've been falling farther and farther away from being able to enjoy time behind the torch, and I might have to sell my setup soon enough anyway. If I did have to sell my setup, I've got a couple of friends that would be interested in buying it, and I was wondering if you guys could help me find a fair price to charge? The items I would be selling in one package would be-

Nortel Rocket, Maybe 80 hours on it?

AIM 99LS/D kiln, fired maybe 150 times, no problems at all

Two Pairs of Boroscopes, one shade 3, the other shade 5

Window fan, 1500 CFM

Bunch of tools, including a few pairs of tweezers, holding claws, couple graphite paddles, etc, nothing too fancy

About 10-12 Full length Schott Boro Artistic Hollow tubes, From 26mil (bout half of em') to 44mil, all heavy wall.

Maybe 5-6 pounds of clear Schott Boro Artistic Rods (bout half 3 or 4 mil, other half ranging from 6-15 mil)

Maybe 2 lbs of assorted color, mostly Glass Alchemy, Some Northstar, some Momkas, and maybe another half pound of Borostix

That's about all of that I can think of, any ideas on a rough area of what to charge?

Thanks

$2500 seems fair to me but I guess it depends on how bad you need the cash.

I think $2500 is more than it all cost new. I would probably sell it for $1000, or maybe $1200. Good luck though.

Hum let's see:

Nortel Rocket: Pretty New $750
Aim kiln: Year old... $600
Boroscopes: $100/pair x2
Window fan....eh I'd throw it in
Basic tools: used $50
Case worth of random BA glass: $100
2.5 lbs random color: $50

Total $1750

What??? Sell your stuff?!?! I won't even sell my guitar and I only break it out a few times a year. 80 hours/ 150 x !!! Whatever happened to all the glassblowing dreams where girls would come over for a custom dildo. How do you like it Honey? Fast or Slow? Don't sell your stuff! You'll regret it!...Slick

Haha@Slick and thanks for all the replies. Yeah, I def don't wanna sell unless it just comes down to it and I have to, but if I did it would go to one of my local friends so I could use it now and then or even buy it back if the time came.
