Hi folks. Salt has put together what he will be doing here at AGI, and it will be broken up over the course of 2 days. Below is a photo of something similar to what he will be making, and the finished piece will include the hands he will be demonstrating on day 1.
Day 1: Sculpture demo:
Salt will demonstrate the techniques that he has studied and reveal some tricks and insights into this work. A focus on hands and eyes will be the beginning and spectators will have a chance to ask questions regarding the breakdown of complex sculptural approach, and how to see what you are making.
Day 2: Pipe demo:
The gloves are off for this no holds barred salt pipe demo. Salt will be ripping through his process just as he does in his own shop!!! No dummed down slowed down versions, this demo will involve elements from the previous demo and Salt will execute the free style approach that he has become known for. Surrealistic and possibly disturbing imagery involved. Beware those with heart conditions; SALT MAY CAUSE HIGH BLOOD PREASURE, SO TAKE YOUR MEDS!!!!!!!
