Is there a fairly reliable way to get a reasonably 'perfect' circle made out of 7mm clear? Is it best to just eyeball it? Try to match it to a drawing on the hardibacker? freehand it and adjust with a reamer? Other?
I'm trying to make a ring about 2" across for something.

yeah, actually, something like that :) It's a component in something I've been trying to sort out for a while, and will probably take a little while longer.
