Intro

Hi, I have been lurking about for some time now and thought it was time for an introduction. I mostly work in soft glass making core formed vessels,(nug jugs I have been told). I also like making little animals. I am from Madison Wi and I am an old hippie (with all that the title entails) Went to college here during the peace march period and the bombing. I am a grandma X5 and soon to be a great grandma. Oh yah And I love melting glass. I have been at it 2 years now. I am including a few pics of my work. Thats me in the avatar.

I too, started in soft glass. Beads quickly gave way to core vessels. But I haven't done a core vessel since starting boro. The ability to do vessels without making a core is great, IMO.
love your "nug jugs" and that Hippo has got a LOT of character. :chilling::D
