we're shooting for mid-august. the whole staff is really busy this summer and we really appreciate you guys for being so awesome and understanding. we're still taking donations for the raffle and we're trying to figure out how to send a bulk mail to our support base. it's kind of complicated from the server end but we're on it. more news as we get it.

What part are you having trouble with?

Use SQL to query your database of users, use the DISTINCT modifier to return unique E-mail addresses. Once you have the record set (which can include User's first and last name) iterate through the record set and use the mail function to do the hard work........

i wish i could answer, i'm just admin because i need some of the controls to help with member accounts and to sort out the spammers as they register. i'm sure the tech admins will figure it out, they're good. i'll make sure they see the suggestion though, thanks.

Human spammers or robots?

Most unwanted spam is robot generated, the fix is usually a captcha. The link I have provided is one for Secure Image ( open source Php captcha).

Pm me with details of what you need to accomplish, while they are figuring I might already have a fix for you.......

i just need to use a dif server, one they say is ok. so i need to go change some settings, no biggy, but thx for the help. :)
