This is getting old.
Yesterday afternoon I terminated Ed Peterson for continuing to post on the kilns thread after I specifically told him to stop. I regret the irritation and anger he stirred up and I hope that this action will bring to an end this particular chapter.
I'm sending a message to the moderation team to lock out the AVC-Ed account to prevent any further postings.
I'm sorry that this happened. I'm really trying hard to solve problems and Ed was becoming part of the problem and not part of the solution.

good move, it was an untenable situation to be sure. best of luck moving forward and rebuilding a trustworthy relationship with the community. just be respectful and sincere and i believe that in time you can overcome the damage that's been done. i'm sure you'll have to put up with jokes for a while but if you stay true to yourself and your customers i think this will all fade away.

The fact remains Aura still makes useful lenses, there's a benefit to having the company as an entity post, let's give him a chance to get his house in order.

Second, you are trying to run a business. One of the key components of a successful business is the customer's trust in it's representatives to tell the truth. That is why this is important.
And lastly, if it really is good ole' HollyJo posting under eds old handle, well, that's just retarded. Waiting an extra few days until she could set up her own account would have prevented this easily foreseeable response.

Throughout the entire clusterfuck at AVC, multiple employees have been signing in on both your's and your alter-ego's names. This was disclosed by the "Ed" persona. You know, your "board of directors" who needed to monitor the forum activity concerning AVC. It's where the rubber hits the road as far as believing anything from you and your tight circle of imaginary friends.I'm calling Bullshit on the difficulty of getting Miss J.O. her own forum handle. No, I normally keep my spelling nazi locked away. I just got so fucking mad at Mike for trying to screw people and then trying to be superior. I usually just watch the trainwreck, but this is just so unnecessary, and so douchebag-ish.
It is OK to express opinions on the state of the industry and things that have an effect on us, but let's cut out the name calling and posts that require deletion. I don't think it helps anything.

If it bothers you that Holly is using Ed's account to post a message from Mike, then report the post to the WC admin. using the little red exclamation point icon on the top right corner of the post.

I'm not condoning fake multiple IDs or using other people's accounts to post. That's against the TOS of most forums and should be reported.

I would BUT........ MIKE and myself were both BANNED from WC and I have repeatedly tried to contact anyone from WC to plead my case for reinstatement... Everyone of any importance is behind WC registration protocol so I do not have access to any people at WC.. If I try to re-register, I just get banned again.. Yet they still tolerate MIKE using a bogus log in from a person whom he supposedly has fired and freely admits a different person (Holly-Jo is using that login) and it clearly violates any terms of service on any board I have been on and Mike screams he is being picked on as he violates the basic rules........ Go figure......

Um, that's not how we see it. Ed's account is Ed's account, period.
Unless, of course......you set up and control Ed's account....in which case it is a violation of our TOS rule prohibiting alter egos.
