fuming is making a comeback.....those colors are the reasons why.

what glass do you use?

A little of everything. The first two marbles are simax, along with the first pendant. The gold one is BA, and the next pendant with the opal is simax. The last two pendants where the tubing left off of two UST female ground glass joints which I believe is chinese but im not sure on that one. I am leaning more towards simax for fuming lately because I can get consistent fume colors where BA sometimes is milky and sometimes not.

here is a few more. How do you guys resize your images? It won't let me upload half of them because they are to big. Is there an alternative to photoshop for a mac that isn't so damn expensive?

Sorry for the shitty pics above. Posted this one on the glass addiction forum. Why is it so much easier to post pics over there? This one is #7 in the series, measures 2 3/4" at the lens and 4" from the lens to the tail.

Been working on these for the past two weeks. They are going to be part of a huge chandelier that will be installed at the end of the month.

originally they where going to put lights down in them and they still might, but most likely they will use a spot light behind them.

Very organic. Reminds me of grape clusters, or alien egg pod deposits. Or even alveoli.

Should look pretty sick all lit up.

Correct, they are the little air sacs on the bronchiole.

Definitely post pics of the final assembly.

Here are the only pics I got on friday of the install. It is only half done in the pic. The white cone in the bottom right corner bolts to the bottom and got covered with glass spikes. Over all it is 3000 pounds. They ran lights down into the grape clusters I made. I also made all the leafs.
They will have a video up on there site in a few days and Ill post when I get some pics of it totally finished.
