animated images

How does one go about putting animations in their signature or avatar? I always get "you cannot upload animated images" response.

hmmmmmmmmm reading your post.........thought I'd try to add an animated gif to my avatar. The first two I tried BOTH got the same reply......yadayada...it failed.

So .........I just assumed that I got the same results that you did.....but much to my surprise...the last one TOOK....even though I got the "it failed" notice. Soooooo as long as you comply with the size requirements..........It seems to load fine....even if it says .....NOPE.

Had a feeling it was just these fumes I breathe makin me see things.

BTW my avatar still isnt working obviously. Just shows one frame of the animation. I dunno.

fwiw, when I grabbed yours off the page to my desktop. And opened it......it was only one freeze frame

FIXED IT. DAMN that kids got a wicked habit. Maybe you just need to try yours again, Snake.

you have to make sure that it isn't set to "play once" and that it matches the size of the avatar space closely...

if it's too large it wont play.
