Aymie,
You're article on Corrine was beautiful! It's so nice when inspiring people come along and plant seeds in us that grow. I can only hope that someone admires me enough someday to write an article about it. Good work ladies! Will you both be at the champs show, I'm going booking this weekend!

We will both be there. We are both competing in the Female Flame Off. I won my entry at the one in Dallas. Hope to see you there.

Hey hey ladies I haven't seen the magazine yet but that sounds great. I wanted to let you guys know that after doing some thinking about what everyone had to say on hawaii for next years competition being expensive as hell I have come to a decision that I think you will all love.
Abe and Nancy offered us the chance to move the flameoff to northstar perminantly....great offer but it would really just lock us to one spot full of the same people every year. So we have agreed to making northstar the home of the FFO every other year??? What do you think?? I need feed back. I really like the idea for several reasons. For starters it will allow us the percs of homebase as well as the freedom to travel and explore new venues. We will have a place to store accumulated supplies for future years as well as embark on glass projects simultaneously with the FFO at northstar in their warehouse. They also have the space to have up to 30 stations at once which allows for more hang out time cause we can all blow at once. Give me your thoughts, but i am like 90% convinced of this arrangement. We are also going non profit before the next one, which should open our doors to new sponsers who may match our donations to the next charity. We need to pick a charity, any ideas?
Abe and I have already started on the catering part too ladies so don't worry you will eat. I just want to have a good turn out this year of new glass blowers as well as all the girls from years past. So let me know your thoughts and if you wanna contribute your time to the event coordinating feel free to email me at lisa@lisaspieces.biz
Vegas is gonna be great ladies so get ready....oh the booth deadline is almost here so if you are interested get back to us soon.
Peace-lisa

I'm down with that plan. Northstar would be an excellent venue. There may be a little less interest in sponsorship from the other color companies, but I think it's worth it given the resources that would be available to us there.
