I just picked up a bethlehem GL100 and realized I have way too many lathes, but they are so hard to find and so cool I do not want to get rid of any. I am a lathe pack rat and just wanted to know if there were any other lathe pack rats out there ( besides brandon). I am up to 5 lathes in a one man glass shop.... its a problem. If any trained lathe workers want a place to work. Come to Columbus.

I'm not a lathe pack rat, but I there is one in our town. This guy has lathes of all shapes and sizes...I'm not even sure how many, but I'm pretty sure he's well into the double digits. Funny thing is, he only uses so many of them...and he doesn't try to sell any of them.

One time he told me he believes "he who dies with the most lathes wins".

being my kind and giving self, i would be willing to help you with your problem.
just pick the lathe that you use the least, or the smallest, or whichever, really....... and i'll be there with a truck and trailer to dispose of it for you. i'm just that nice a guy. ;)
seriously, tho....you don't have a little bitty benchtop job or thereabouts that you'd care to part with for a reasonable price?
