So I been wondering
Who invented the Spoon? (Basic shape pipe with pushed dish)
Might seem crazy but it has to have happened in the last 20 years
Im shure there are lots of Rumors but really does anyone know?
IT's my understanding that the first fumed pipes were like big scherlock onies Ie had a constriction to make the dish not pushed
Can we get some good info on how the shape of a glass pipe has evolved and try to credit those who perticipaited in that early evolution
sorry but I'm real curious and I think this forum is the only place i will ever get any answers Would make a good book or documenty
any way
Who invented Spoon?
What aboult other shapes techniques?

thanks Peace

I thought Snodgrass got that credit. Or did he just put silver on them first?

Its been more than 20 years tho, I would think more like 30 or so.

Nomad

Naw dude, you got it all wrong. Nomad didn't just make the first spoon. He first made the earth, then made fire, then he invented the art of glassblowing.

THEN he made the first spoon.

not many answers yet...

but just curious, why do you thing it had to have happened in the last twenty years?
people have been blowing glass and making glass smoking pipes for a lot longer than twenty years.

Laughing @ 'There is no spoon.'

Must have been scientific workers that first made one out of Borosilicate. Maybe it was a test tube with a bowl push. Most likely it was a bubble on a point. As soon as they tried a straight stem with the dish on TOP, that would be the one.

Who made the first spoon? Good forking question.

Actually, it was a little disappointing because the credit was given to his grandfather. I was hoping that it would have been more on the lines of:

Sinbad, the mighty immortal
perfected the art of glass over eons.
Long ago, before the Buddha walked the Earth,
he understood true balance
and expressed it
in the form of
a spoon.

At least, that is what I was expecting from his fans on this board.

Still no one even has a guess it's really amazing that most of us have likely made 1000's of these things And no one knows where we got it from
Thanks to who ever did it i shure would like to shake your hand
peace
IF any of you even have a guess at it it would be cool I shure have no idea
But In all fairness i think sinbad and supuralworld likely co created at this piont
with nomad comming in and taking all the credit and bery laughler was the shop tech that cleaned up the mess and secretly masteded the tech while the others were trying to invent the bubbler
Really i would like to know???

no one invented the spoon. It was reconstructed from fossil evidence dating back some 150,000,000 years ago.
