I have finally gotten to the point were I am able to make glass and then take pictures of it before it goes out. I just finished my studio and made some space for taking pictures. I made a light box and I am using the macro feature on my camera, but there is a ridiculous amount of glares and reflections in my picctures; something I will have to work on when time permits.
I wanted to start a picture thread featuring my glass. I have been blowing glass for a good while. However I took some time off between 2005-2009. I got back at it early this year. Before I pretty much only made prodo pipes and multisectional pipes, wet and dry. Now I am learning how to make everything else other than pipes. So this thread will be basically my glass going in a new and fresh direction.

Sometimes I make glass loops, sometimes I don't. Some of my accounts prefer silver bails to the glass loop. Different things appeal to different markets.

would you show a photo of a back of a pendant? how do you attach the loop? where do you get them?
i really like your fume marbles, and the square vortex. i've made a few triangle vortex's that people love.

The bails are called Aanaraku silver plated bails. This guy (http://www.etsy.com/shop/RayDichroic)has the best deal (and his ship time is really fast), I've bought them from other dealers, but their quality sucks.
He has everything you need to attach them to glass. I just use E6000, it is mess free and works great.
I use the small and the medium bails, dependent on the size of the pendant.

Aquatic Fume, is gold and silver fume. Layered and twisted.
The milli's in the top marble got a little blurry, it's not the photo. The star in the star milli is surrounded by Mystery Adventurine. The Mystery crackled like crazy inside the deep encasement. It happened in another Mib as well. The cane works good on the outside though.
These are not exactly 1st quality Mibs , but I just wanted to share some of the new techniques I am working on.

nice dude!! i kinda like the metal loop..seems like if the pendant was gonna break, the loop would be the weak point and that pretty much solves it!!..
whats up with that RASTA MRABLE on the first page towards the bottom??? is it for sale?

This one is barely under three inches, weighing 16.5 oz. The backing is unob fumed and then dotted.

you totally dont need molds, is that why you only make pendants? i wondered. i have made marbles almost 2 inches, a,most perfectly round, freehand. made over 50 marbles freehand, its no big deal.
oh and oh yah, nice stuff BZglass :)

the turtle is sick dude! the coral and the base look good the lil pink flower thing looks like a sea urchin... i have a bunch of sample frit baggies that i didnt know what to do with...i should try something like this..thanks for posting the pic!

If you don't mind me asking, on your fumed pieces are you fuming clear rods, then putting them in a tube, and melting it all in, or are you fuming a tube, and putting clear rods in it then melting together? "Or am I way the hell off in my thinking?"

Dorkeedude the fumed mib above is I/O tube fumed. I just opend the tube, fumed, and layed clear linesinside, close, and condense. I also do a lot of disc filp fuming on tubing, as well. Thanks for the compliments

cool man, the wire wrapping really makes those pop. Been thinking about trying my hand at it, but I don't have patience for tying hemp so Im afraid I probly wont wanna do wire in the end...but it looks so damn nice!

It's not burned, it was hard to get pics to show the depth of the vortex, and the flash made the needles look really silver.
