im wondering how much other people charge for there cane so that i can decide how to price my work appropriately.

you can usually find it for $3 /gram. (or less sometimes)

i've bought o'grady's, taj's and stroebel's for that price

thats just for prodo, correct? what about custom, like someones name or an obscure comic character that wouldnt readily be found.

yeah, $3/g for custom cane.... if it's not too complicated, like a name or a simple face... the catch is you have to buy it all. could be several hundred grams if it's a complex cane that's built up from multiple canes.
