My name is Megan. Some of you met me @ AGI. Just wanted to formally introduce myself, because I will be posting on the Vendor's Glassifieds section, representing the company I work for, Tecnolux. Some of you probably know Joe- he used to post on here quite a bit for Tecnolux. Anyway, just wanted to say hi! :D

Hello, I'll give you a little heads up. One problem that technolux ran into in the past was that they would take your order an not ship it for a few days, even when the stock is in hand, fact. Glassblowers don't like this, considering every other company will ship it asap, gotta remember were really not the best planners so when we order glass, we need it asap! Another thing with technolux is that you guys would never give any colors deals, another thing your competition does. Free shipping on two pounds at full price rate isn't a deal either. I recommend that you guys study your competition cause your old plan wont cut it (hell most of everything we use has gone down in prices, even lots of color)an your guys will soon say again: that industry is more problems then it's worth. An finally, retrain the two Asian American ladies on customer service(if they are still there), I could tell they really didn't give a crap an were just order takers.....

Good luck an hope that you guys improve from your break.

Dude just because you have a personal issue with her boss does not mean you should take it out on her. She was just saying hello, I mean what a warm welcome. Maybe you should grow a pair and talk to her boss about it personally instead of being a coward and saying it to one of his employees. I met Megan personally at AGI and she is a really sweet girl and doesn't deserve to get shit from some idiot with a personal vendetta.

Technolux rocks. I used to order 5 lb bundles of seconds from them all the time. Can beat 5lbs of ruby for $30, even if they were seconds.

Hey bro, check yourself with your 37 post. Second you obviously don't know shit about technolux history. Did i say anything mean toward Megan, I don't think so, I was just letting her get a view from the other side of WHY technolux called it quits with us a while back an gave her some pointers on what the industry didn't like with them an perhaps what their facing now. Better advice than some schlup just say hey, was fun hangin at agi wit ya.

Third, I got a pair of balls an I go to a lot of community events so if you see me their step up an say something smartass, I'll be looking for you an all your glass knowledge, BTW who the fuck are you, let's see some glass you fucking hack.

In my mind it is appropriate for BC to let Megan know about the problems of the past. She is presenting herself as a representative of Tecnolux here. But hey, let's keep this from getting personal.

Colyerso, you may not have liked BC expressing his opinion and letting Megan know what problems he saw in the past with Tecnolux, but that does not excuse calling him an "idiot" and a "coward" who needs to "grow a pair." What kind of response did you think that would garner?

Brian, please refrain from any more personal stuff as well. I know she started the name-calling and whatnot, but I think she was just trying to stick up for her friend... something I know you would do / have done as well.

So maybe if you guys can just see where each other are coming from, we can drop the attacks and move on.

I don't want to cause any drama. Scarlett was merely trying to make me feel better about joining the forum since that post did not really make me feel too welcome.

Tecnolux did not stop posting on here, because of any sort of issue. The person that used to post on here, Joe, left the company. In the short time that I've been on here (and at AGI as well) I've received a lot of positive feedback. You can't please all the people all the time, but I will try my best!

hey i've been using technolux for a few years and they have always been wonderful! I lived in jersey and would just drive in to brooklyn and wander around their warehouse and pick out what i want, always amazingly friendly. Also last year i had them ship me a case of 50x5 and a bunch of tubes broke in shipping, i called them up let them know and they sent me out some replacements the next day! They are super nice and the only place I have ever bought glass from!
