HI everyone, here are some practice cuppas I am trying to get good at as you can see I need lots of practice and these are good for demos because they dont take too long and people can see something put together. If I am making them a crowd seems to appear from nowhere and seem pleased just watching me practice this old technique. please look, i know they need improvement & I will work seriously on refining this........ thanks again, jes

I like that the stem is flared right into a foot. Kind of medieval looking, and very pleasing to the eye.

Do you find the amethyst tubing (second from left) is temperamental? Sometimes after I pull a point and am working on a piece, the extra tubing that is cooling on the bench cracks. Maybe I just need a better cooling rack, but this is the only glass that does that.

Sweet goblets.

thanks for looking and comments.....
??????????////Or.... NO nothing gives me more problems then others, All the tubes seem to work fine if I pull the points in a simulare way! cooling ends off the bench....

Dont mean to be so wordy, I just didnt expect any questions...... I love glass color and clear and use it and differnt diameters and realy like making stuff..... the trumpet feet are classical and want to improve my technique, I have been using these cups for studio cups and thought I would post some, next year hopefully they will be alot better, thanks again, much peace, jes

here is me making a cup if you want to see...... its the last one of the workshop so its the best out of the day, but its not perfect but good for practice..... please look

Those look great Jes! I can also vouch that these cups are 100% useable. I just drank out of one at Jes's studio the other day. Those cups are nice and thin too!
